The client
Google Fiber launched its pilot program in Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri, the first city in the United States to receive gigabit internet service. The program represented a landmark moment in consumer broadband and required an on-the-ground go-to-market strategy to drive awareness, adoption, and community engagement.
The objective
Design and execute a comprehensive go-to-market and experience strategy for the Kansas City pilot launch , encompassing community rallies, showcase spaces, live demos, and a finale event that celebrated the city's role in shaping the future of connectivity.
The solution
Built an immersive on-the-ground activation strategy spanning neighborhood rallies, a flagship showcase space, and high-energy community events. Each touchpoint was designed to educate residents, generate sign-ups, and build grassroots momentum around the Google Fiber brand in its inaugural market.
The campaign culminated in a city-wide finale event that brought together residents, local leaders, and media, cementing Kansas City's identity as the birthplace of Google Fiber.
